So you’re booked: How to prepare for you exclusive interview on beat promoters radio!
To join the Beat Promoters Radio livestream, please follow these 4 steps:
1.) Get Booked: Follow Beat Promoters on Instagram and send us a direct message stating that you would like to be interviewed. Also, subscribe to our official community events calendar to see available dates before reaching out to us via Instagram. Once you send us a DM, a member of the Beat Promoters Team will get back to you shortly to confirm a date and time.
*Please note that Beat Promoters Radio only goes live Monday through Friday at 8pm Central / 9pm Eastern. Weekend days are not available at this time.
2.) Join the Livestream: Beat Promoters Radio is an Instagram-based livestream, but we don't go live directly from the Instagram app. Instead, we broadcast to Instagram. On the day of the livestream, we will send you a link that allows you to join us on our livestream panel. Make sure that you open our invitation link in your Chrome browser.
*If you don't have the Chrome web browser app on your phone, you will need to download it from your app store. After clicking the link, the next page will ask you to select your camera and microphone.
3.) Join the Discord: Once you've joined the livestream video panel, you will then join the host, jones on the BEAT, in the Beat Promoters Discord. Joining the Discord is necessary in order for you to hear the beats being played on the livestream without lag or latency. jones on the BEAT will be sharing his screen with you, which will allow you to see and select beats that you want to hear played and possibly decide on to add to your "Type Beat Playlist".
*For the livestream ultimately you will need to join the video panel via your phone to ensure the beat camera quality. You will also be joining the Discord via your computer desktop or laptop with a pair of headphones in order to hear the audio playing from the Discord.
4.) Prepare Your Content: On the day of the livestream, and not sooner, you'll need to email any music, music videos, social media content etc, that you want to be featured or played during the livestream to: [email protected].
